“Of all the companies I called to give me an estimate, Maddi from ProScapes is the ONLY person who followed up with me. She is so conscientious, had great recommendations and took my drawings and turned them into a fabulous reality. Her team was on time, knew exactly what to do and were flexible with my suggestions while on site. They came back a year later to fix a couple of things that didn’t grow back. I recommended them to my neighbors and they too had a very positive experience.”

“We asked them to replace a deteriorating concrete block wall (which we never liked) with a wall of large natural boulders and, if they could, preserve some mature evergreens in the process, and they exceeded expectations. The outcome is beautiful and timeless.”

“ProScapes completed a large landscape/hardscape project for us, and it turned out beautifully. They were very responsive during the design phase and very patient as we worked through several adjustments. The crew was friendly and professional, and they maintained a clean job site. It was clear that the crew took pride in their work and wanted to ensure that we were happy with the end result.”

Maintenance

Then keep it looking the way it did the week we finished.

Most design-build firms in the Twin Cities will not maintain what they build. We will — and we maintain properties we did not build, too.

Our process

Six stages, and you approve before the money moves.

You approve the drawings and the number before anything is ordered. Here is how a project actually runs.

Consultation

A designer walks the property with you, listens to how you actually want to use the space, and flags anything structural — drainage, grade, access — before ideas get expensive.

Site analysis

Soil, sun, drainage, slope, utilities, and existing plant health. This is the stage that separates a design that works from a design that only looks good on paper.

Design

Plan drawings and material selection, with a cost range attached before anyone commits to a full construction set. You see what you’re buying.

Your review

You mark it up. We revise. Nothing gets ordered or scheduled until the plan and the number both have your signature on them.

Installation

Our crews, our equipment. Base photos before anything gets covered, site cleaned to working condition every evening, and a firm end date.

Walkthrough & warranty

We walk the finished work with you, show you how to care for it, and hand over the warranty. Then we’re available for the maintenance if you want it.

Service area

Based in Eagan. Serving the south metro and the 494/694 loop.

Our core is the south metro — Eagan, Apple Valley, Burnsville, Lakeville, Rosemount, Inver Grove Heights, Mendota Heights, Savage — and we work throughout the Twin Cities inside the 494/694 beltway. Close enough to show up on time, come back for the walkthrough, and be around when a plant needs replacing.

Common questions

What homeowners ask before they call.

How much does landscaping cost in the Twin Cities?
It depends far more on access, grade, and drainage than on square footage, which is why no reputable contractor quotes before walking the site. What we do differently: after the consultation you get a cost range for each phase before you pay for a full design, so you know where the money goes before you commit to anything. Most projects are phased so the first phase fits the budget you actually have.
Do you take on small projects, or only full-yard makeovers?
Both. A front entry, a single patio, a retaining wall that is leaning, or a planting bed renovation are all projects we run every week. If a job is small enough that a residential-only mowing company would serve you better and cheaper, we will say so.
When should I book to get a project done this season?
Design slots fill from late winter on, and installation calendars for summer are usually set by May. The best time to start a consultation is the season before you want to use the space — but we will always tell you honestly what is still possible this year.
Do you maintain what you build?
Yes, and we maintain landscapes we did not build. Several of the best-known design-build firms in the Twin Cities will not do maintenance at all. We offer scheduled landscape maintenance, lawn service, irrigation service, fine gardening, and tree care, so the property keeps looking the way it did the week we finished.
Which cities do you serve?
Most of our residential work is in the south metro — Eagan, Apple Valley, Burnsville, Lakeville, Rosemount, Inver Grove Heights, Mendota Heights, and the surrounding cities — within about thirty minutes of our yard in Eagan. We serve the wider Twin Cities for larger projects.
Is the consultation really free?
Yes. A designer walks the property with you, listens to how you want to use the space, flags anything structural, and gives you an honest read on scope and cost range. No obligation, and we will not call you weekly afterward.
Commercial properties

Manage a commercial property, HOA, or portfolio?
