Overview

The two service visits that matter most are the ones easiest to forget.

A spring start-up catches the winter damage before it wastes a season of water. A fall blowout prevents the split lines that create the next spring's repair bill. Both are easy to put off, and both cost more to skip than to do.

We schedule existing clients automatically for both, so nobody has to remember in October.

Irrigation Service
What’s included

Scope, written out.

Every line below appears on your proposal, so you can hold it against anyone else’s bid.

  • Spring start-up, pressurization, and zone-by-zone test
  • Head cleaning, adjustment, and replacement
  • Nozzle sizing corrections for coverage
  • Head-to-head coverage audit with written findings
  • Valve, solenoid, and wiring diagnostics
  • Mainline and lateral leak location and repair
  • Controller programming reviewed against the season
  • Smart controller and sensor upgrades
  • Backflow testing with compliance documentation
  • Drip and micro-irrigation service
  • Fall blowout with compressed air, zone by zone
  • Written record of the winterization
How we build it

The parts you cannot see are the parts that fail.

Scheduled, not requested

Existing clients get automatically scheduled for start-up and blowout. The failure mode of irrigation service is forgetting, so we removed the forgetting.

Audited, not just switched on

A start-up should include walking every zone and logging what is broken, not turning the water on and driving away.

Winterization on record

You get documentation of what was blown out and when. If a line splits, you know whether the service happened.

Any system, any installer

We service systems we did not install. Bring us the mess — we will map it and tell you what it needs.

Fall special

Irrigation blowout: $75 for up to 7 zones.

Every zone cleared with a commercial compressor before the first hard freeze. $60 per home when 3 or more neighbors book together. Routes fill in order from mid-October.

What it costs

Nobody in this market will give you a number. Here is what actually moves it.

Every landscape contractor in the Twin Cities refuses to quote before seeing the site, and honestly they are right to — access and grade change a price more than square footage does. What we will do is tell you which decisions drive your number, so you walk into the consultation knowing where the money goes.

  • Number of zones — the standard unit for start-up and blowout pricing
  • System condition — a neglected system needs repair time on top of the service visit
  • Repairs found — quoted before we do them, never added silently
  • Backflow testing — where your city requires annual certification
  • Controller upgrades — optional, and usually the best value in the whole system
  • Access — buried or undocumented valve boxes take time to locate

“Of all the companies I called to give me an estimate, Maddi from ProScapes is the ONLY person who followed up with me. She is so conscientious, had great recommendations and took my drawings and turned them into a fabulous reality. Her team was on time, knew exactly what to do and were flexible with my suggestions while on site. They came back a year later to fix a couple of things that didn’t grow back. I recommended them to my neighbors and they too had a very positive experience.”

“We asked them to replace a deteriorating concrete block wall (which we never liked) with a wall of large natural boulders and, if they could, preserve some mature evergreens in the process, and they exceeded expectations. The outcome is beautiful and timeless.”

Our process

Six stages, and you approve before the money moves.

Consultation

A designer walks the property with you, listens to how you actually want to use the space, and flags anything structural — drainage, grade, access — before ideas get expensive.

Site analysis

Soil, sun, drainage, slope, utilities, and existing plant health. This is the stage that separates a design that works from a design that only looks good on paper.

Design

Plan drawings and material selection, with a cost range attached before anyone commits to a full construction set. You see what you’re buying.

Your review

You mark it up. We revise. Nothing gets ordered or scheduled until the plan and the number both have your signature on them.

Installation

Our crews, our equipment. Base photos before anything gets covered, site cleaned to working condition every evening, and a firm end date.

Walkthrough & warranty

We walk the finished work with you, show you how to care for it, and hand over the warranty. Then we’re available for the maintenance if you want it.

Questions

What homeowners ask.

When should I winterize in Minnesota?
October, before the first sustained hard freeze. Waiting for the forecast to look threatening is how people end up on a waiting list during a cold snap. We schedule clients through the month so nobody is last.
Do you service systems you didn't install?
Yes, and a good share of our service work is exactly that. The first visit takes a bit longer because we map the zones and locate valve boxes, but after that it is routine.
My water bill spiked. What happened?
Most often a stuck valve, an underground leak, or a controller running a schedule through a wet stretch. A leak on the mainline can run continuously without any visible surfacing. Worth calling about promptly — it is one of the few landscape problems that gets expensive by the day.
Is a smart controller worth it on an older system?
Usually yes, and it is often the single best value upgrade available. You get weather-based skipping and app control without touching a single pipe.
