Residential
Landscape design, hardscaping, planting, and irrigation for Twin Cities homes — plus the maintenance program that keeps it looking the way it did the week we finished. Same crews and equipment that maintain Class A commercial property.
Start Your Project
Tell us about the space. We’ll walk it with you and give you an honest read on scope and range.
Design
Start with a plan. Whole-property design, or a single space done properly — either way you see drawings and a cost range before anything is ordered.

Landscaping Design
Full-property design — measured survey, drainage solved first, scaled drawings, and a cost range attached to each phase before anything is ordered.

Patios, fire features, outdoor kitchens, shade structures, and lighting designed as one connected space, built to work in October and not just July.
Go to Outdoor Living & DesignFront Entry Design
Front walks, entry steps, foundation plantings, and arrival lighting. The smallest project on most properties and the one with the highest return.
Go to Front Entry DesignPlanting & Design
Minnesota-hardy planting plans spaced for mature size, with four-season interest and honest advice about deer pressure and soil.
Go to Planting & DesignHardscaping
Everything you can walk on, sit on, or lean against — built to ICPI and NCMA standards, with base and subgrade photographed before they disappear.
Go to HardscapingPatios
Paver and natural stone patios excavated deeper than a national spec calls for, because Minnesota frost demands it. Compacted in lifts, pitched to move water.
Go to PatiosWalkways
Front walks and garden paths routed where people actually walk, wide enough for two, and sleeved for lighting during installation.
Go to WalkwaysRetaining Walls
Engineered above four feet or under a surcharge, drained from behind with aggregate, filter fabric, and a daylighted outlet. Water is what fails a wall, not weight.
Go to Retaining WallsBoulder Retaining Walls
Granite and fieldstone gravity walls, machine-set and keyed into the slope, with planting pockets designed in from the start rather than added later.
Go to Boulder Retaining WallsIrrigation
New system design and installation, zoned by plant type rather than by convenience, with smart weather-based control and backflow to code.
Go to IrrigationMaintenance
Then keep it. Several of the best-known design-build firms in the Twin Cities will not maintain what they build. We will — including properties we did not build.

Verbatim from our Google reviews. We did not write these, and we do not get to pick which ones you see on Google — so go read all of them.
“Of all the companies I called to give me an estimate, Maddi from ProScapes is the ONLY person who followed up with me. She is so conscientious, had great recommendations and took my drawings and turned them into a fabulous reality. Her team was on time, knew exactly what to do and were flexible with my suggestions while on site. They came back a year later to fix a couple of things that didn’t grow back. I recommended them to my neighbors and they too had a very positive experience.”
“We asked them to replace a deteriorating concrete block wall (which we never liked) with a wall of large natural boulders and, if they could, preserve some mature evergreens in the process, and they exceeded expectations. The outcome is beautiful and timeless.”
“ProScapes completed a large landscape/hardscape project for us, and it turned out beautifully. They were very responsive during the design phase and very patient as we worked through several adjustments. The crew was friendly and professional, and they maintained a clean job site. It was clear that the crew took pride in their work and wanted to ensure that we were happy with the end result.”
Six stages, and you approve before the money moves.
Consultation
A designer walks the property with you, listens to how you actually want to use the space, and flags anything structural — drainage, grade, access — before ideas get expensive.
Site analysis
Soil, sun, drainage, slope, utilities, and existing plant health. This is the stage that separates a design that works from a design that only looks good on paper.
Design
Plan drawings and material selection, with a cost range attached before anyone commits to a full construction set. You see what you’re buying.
Your review
You mark it up. We revise. Nothing gets ordered or scheduled until the plan and the number both have your signature on them.
Installation
Our crews, our equipment. Base photos before anything gets covered, site cleaned to working condition every evening, and a firm end date.
Walkthrough & warranty
We walk the finished work with you, show you how to care for it, and hand over the warranty. Then we’re available for the maintenance if you want it.
We are a commercial contractor that does residential work properly.
Worth saying plainly, because it cuts both ways.
- Our equipment and crews are sized for acreage, so hardscape, grading, drainage, walls, and tree work are genuinely in our wheelhouse
- We hold ICPI and NCMA credentials for hardscape and wall construction, and MDA licensing for applications
- We self-perform — the crew on your property works for us, not for a broker
- We maintain what we build, so we make base and drainage decisions knowing we will be back
- If you want a weekly mow on a small lot, a residential-focused company will serve you better and cheaper, and we will say so

Let’s walk the property.
Consultations are free and unhurried. Bring photos or just the problem you keep looking at — we will tell you honestly what it takes to fix.
