A family-owned landscape company, based in Eagan, that self-performs.
ProScapes designs and builds residential landscapes — patios, walls, plantings, irrigation — and maintains them afterward, for homeowners across the south metro and the Twin Cities. The same crews and equipment handle commercial grounds and snow & ice management for property managers and associations. All of it runs out of our facility on Highway 55 in Eagan.
What sets the company apart is not a slogan. It is three structural choices. We self-perform every service line, so there is no subcontractor between you and the work. We put the scope in writing before any money moves, so you can hold it against any other bid. And we maintain what we build — which changes how carefully we build it, because we know we will be back.
ProScapes is owned by Savannah Grounds Co., a Minnesota corporation. The operation, the crews, and the yard are the same ones that have served this market for sixty-eight years.
Four commitments that show up in the contract.
We self-perform
Six service lines, all ProScapes crews on ProScapes equipment. When something goes wrong, there is nobody else to call and nobody else to blame.
How that changes thingsWe document
Photo proof, timestamps, salt weights, event reports. You verify the work instead of trusting it — and you have a record when someone asks.

Trigger depths, response windows, service days, and inclusions go in the contract. “As conditions warrant” is not a scope.

One account manager who walked your property, knows your site, and picks up. Not a dispatch queue and not a rotating rep.

Most buyers recognize the acronyms without knowing what they certify. Here is the plain version.
Certificates of insurance, W-9, applicator licensing, and responsible contractor verification available on request — usually same business day.
What Twin Cities homeowners say
Verbatim from our Google reviews. We did not write these, and we do not get to pick which ones you see on Google — so go read all of them.
“Of all the companies I called to give me an estimate, Maddi from ProScapes is the ONLY person who followed up with me. She is so conscientious, had great recommendations and took my drawings and turned them into a fabulous reality. Her team was on time, knew exactly what to do and were flexible with my suggestions while on site. They came back a year later to fix a couple of things that didn’t grow back. I recommended them to my neighbors and they too had a very positive experience.”
“We asked them to replace a deteriorating concrete block wall (which we never liked) with a wall of large natural boulders and, if they could, preserve some mature evergreens in the process, and they exceeded expectations. The outcome is beautiful and timeless.”
“ProScapes completed a large landscape/hardscape project for us, and it turned out beautifully. They were very responsive during the design phase and very patient as we worked through several adjustments. The crew was friendly and professional, and they maintained a clean job site. It was clear that the crew took pride in their work and wanted to ensure that we were happy with the end result.”
A safety program that exists on ordinary Tuesdays.
Plenty of contractors have a safety binder. Fewer have documented daily huddles, equipment pre-flight checklists that get filled out, and an AWAIR program that crews can describe without reading it.
- Written AWAIR program with documented annual review
- Daily crew huddle with a recorded safety topic
- Equipment pre-flight checklist before every vehicle leaves the yard
- Maintained SDS binder accessible to every crew
- Regular all-hands safety meetings with attendance records
- New hire safety onboarding before first field assignment
On commercial and public work this matters twice: it keeps our people safe, and it satisfies the safety documentation your procurement process requires.

Ask for a consultation, a reference on a project like yours, and our written scope. Any contractor worth hiring can produce all three.
