Overview

Most commercial turf programs are sold by the round, not by the result.

Four applications, same product, same timing, every property. It is easy to sell and easy to bid against — and it is why so many commercial lawns look tired by August.

We soil-test, set a program per property, and apply under Minnesota Department of Agriculture commercial applicator licensing with the posting and notification compliance that goes with it.

How we work

What makes this different from the last contractor.

MDA-licensed applicators

Commercial pesticide applicator licensing through the Minnesota Department of Agriculture, with records kept to the standard the license requires.

Tenant-tolerance planning

Daycare, medical, and senior living properties get product selection and timing built around occupancy, not around our route efficiency.

Program, not rounds

Soil results drive the plan. Two properties five miles apart get two different programs, because they have two different soils.

Records you can produce

Every application logged with product, rate, and date — the record you want if a tenant or a regulator ever asks.

Process

The season, step by step.

Test

Soil samples pulled by zone. Results determine nutrient plan, pH correction, and whether the problem is fertility at all.

Early season

Pre-emergent timed to soil temperature rather than the calendar, plus the first balanced feeding.

Mid season

Broadleaf control as needed, disease scouting, insect monitoring, and salt-damage repair on winter-scarred edges.

Late season

Core aeration, overseeding, and the fall feeding that does more for spring green-up than anything applied in April.

Questions

What buyers ask us.

Is the fertilizer program safe around tenants and pets?
Products are applied by MDA-licensed commercial applicators at label rates with posted notification. For properties with daycare, medical, or senior living occupancy we will build a program around reduced-risk products and restricted timing — ask for it during the site walk.
Why does my turf look worse than the property next door on the same program?
Usually soil, shade, compaction, or irrigation coverage — not fertility. That is why we test first. Adding another round of fertilizer to compacted soil under a poorly covered irrigation zone is money spent for nothing.
Do you handle salt damage from winter?
Yes, and we plan for it. Edges along plow routes and walk-adjacent turf take chloride damage every Minnesota winter. Spring remediation is written into the program for properties we also service in winter.
Can you do organic or reduced-chemical programs?
We can build a reduced-input program and will be straight with you about what it will and will not achieve on a high-traffic commercial site in this climate.
